ATOM SL HOODY

However, thick heat melts in summer are rarely necessary. The Atom SL Hoody is precisely designed to provide the necessary insulation necessary for milder weather conditions. Their heat output can be compared with a light fleece jacket, but with a significantly lighter weight. Thus the Atom SL is an efficient warming in colder conditions and is suitable for solo rest during breaks, in the early morning or when you want to enjoy the beautiful view from a peak.

VERSATILITY WITH FOCUS

With the Atom SL, easy weather changes are no problem. The shell material provides a balanced mixture of air permeability and wind resistance, allows air circulation during activity and cold protection during rest breaks. The 40 g / m² insulation Coreloft ™ Compact is extremely compressible, insulates even when wet, and offers first class functionality with very low weight. The materials of the Atom SL regulate the moisture and ensure comfort on the move. The sleeves are lined with comfortable mesh material and lightweight fleece side panels support heat output and ventilation. The anatomical design of the sleeves and the underarm gusset additionally ensure freedom of movement.

FUNCTIONAL MINIMALISM

The designers at Arc'teryx know that elaborate minimalism improves performance. The Atom SL is so compact and light, thanks to its reduced equipment and material selection, that there is no reason to leave it at home. The comfortable, compressible and resistant shell material Tyono ™ 20 is made of fine denier yarn and is surprisingly robust in terms of weight. The StormHood ™ hood has a DWR (durable water repellant) and is not fed. Ideal for cool winds or light rain. The body-tight cut ensures a low volume and is suitable for a layer system, the insulation is only used in the most important areas - so the weight is reduced without sacrificing the required heat output. The result is a hoody that provides sufficient insulation for the transition season, compresses the size of a grapefruit and weighs just 260 grams
