This light mountain jacket for alpine adventures is inspired by the early climbing pioneers. That’s why for the products in our SHIELD VINTAGE line we’ve blended tried and tested traditional fibers with modern high-tech materials. We use the high-performance membrane Dermizax® NX from Toray in the hood and shoulder areas to keep out the wet and the wind. The hood is also two-way adjustable to provide you with optimum protection even on unpleasant days in the mountains. A wax finish protects the organic cotton mix against moisture and at the same time provides high breathability in the front and back areas. The cuffs and seam are adjustable to provide protection from wind and cold on the way to the summit – those gusts don’t stand a chance.

And even contact with rock is no concern for the CORVARA JACKET for women: The material is extremely robust and can withstand at least 30,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test.
Small items you need constant quick access to can be stored in the upper arm pocket and in the two front pockets. This makes the jacket perfect for days spent in the Alps: from the Karwendel to the Tegernsee lake.
