Our Ortles Light 2 down jacket with hood is an exceptionally light, wind-resistant and water-repellent insulation jacket for alpine activities such as alpine mountaineering, ski and glacier tours and ice climbing. As it was developed in collaboration with renowned mountain guide associations in the Alps, it offers professional insulation and functionality. It was designed according to our body mapping system and is equipped with a 750 cuin 90/10 down filling in combination with Polartec® Alpha® active insulation, which we place strategically to meet the specific insulation needs of the different body zones. The light and at the same time hard-wearing outer fabric made of nylon ripstop is ideal for alpine activities.

SALEWA® only uses down that is certified according to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). With an insulated, fitted hood with an integrated collar. Our free motion pattern construction and ergonomic sleeves prevent the hem from sliding up while climbing. The jacket can be worn as a warming outer layer or an insulating intermediate layer.
